Increase productivity by prioritizing self-care

Self-care is important, especially as an entrepreneur or small business owner. The want/need to be successful is real but often comes at the expense of the one chasing the dream.

So, what is self-care?

Google's definition - the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health.

People who look after themselves have better focus, better concentration, and they tend to be more productive.

Develop healthy self-care routines.

SLEEP!!! - Go to sleep and wake up around the same time every day.

Insufficient sleep is the kryptonite of concentration.

Exercise - Get out and walk for 30 mins.

It will boost your energy and allow your brain to work more efficiently.

Turn off the world - Put your phone down, turn off that laptop, smell the roses. Be present. Stepping away from your phone will help you focus on your work, family, and yourself. No one can pour from an empty cup.

Invest in yourself - Learn something new or buy that cart full of things you are dying to purchase. Sometimes you gotta treat yourself.
