Work From Home

During this difficult time around the world, we are being asked to self-quarantine and practice social distancing. Given concerns about the spread of COVID-19 many are choosing to proactively avoid public places, even if they are not sick. This is what the CDC defines as “social distancing”, or the act of avoiding locations or situations where close contact with others may occur. Unlike those who have self-quarantined, these individuals have not been exposed to the virus and are simply attempting to reduce risk of infection.

Many businesses have shut down, restricted access to customers, and cut hours. There are also companies that have transitioned into having their employees work from home. It's no easy task working from home, but there are tools that could make things easier.

Communication -

Besides the normal text and email, there is no need for a six-foot distance with these software's.

ZOOM - With the free version of Zoom (and who doesn’t like free), meetings with three or more participants (that means unlimited members for your meetings) can be held up to 40 minutes. If you have one on one meetings, the time on those are unlimited. Zoom allows you to screen share, record the meeting, take screenshots and much more.

SLACK - Organize your team chats by Channels. Drag and drop PDFs, images, videos, and other files directly into Slack. Show your work and your screen too.

Task Management -

Share files, set due dates and let your team click complete when done.

ASANA - Organize your work into shared projects as lists or Kanban boards for your initiatives, meetings, and programs. Break work into manageable pieces for you and your team. Give tasks a clear owner, so everyone knows who’s responsible.

TRELLO - Organize tasks by cards. Move the cards to a different column as the project progresses. Have your whole team on aboard.

Digital Document Signing –

SIGNREQUEST – This integrates with google docs. It allows you to send PDFs and have them signed.

Adobe Acrobat DC – Now integrates with google Docs. Create and edit PDFs. Fillables and digital signature as well.

Schedule Meetings –

CALENDLY – Pick time slots to fit your schedule. Embed into emails, and your website for ease of scheduling a meeting.
